My education was a conglomerate of classes mostly about what I was interested in with no particular relevance to a profession, let alone a degree. Being a single Mom and working for peanuts left me little money for education let alone time, however I always found a few dollars to take a class in something; perhaps just for my night out at times. For many years I was a professional part time student taking classes in Investigative Journalism. With Woodward and Bernstein as American heroes I was hoping to be the next great Lois Lane, breaking the story that would make Watergate look like a page three by-line in the Gazette Star, I never found it. When that didn't work I switched majors to Information Systems and Finance. Stability has its rewards. Did I give up writing, no. If nothing more than a storm of journals and a few dusty novels I’ve always been a writer. Top it off with selling enough to buy an actual computer with a 25 mg hard drive the year IBM sold the first PC introduced me to the world of IT. Today I write about everything from Politics to Java.
One of the things always top of my list was Politics. Not only did it interest me, but I found myself engrossed in it from the 70’s until today.
